Hotel Maribel: Sierra Nevada's ski-in/ski-out alpine hotel at 2,250 metres

Ski Access & Location

Hotel Maribel sits at 2,250 metres, with direct access to the Maribel and Águila slopes and the chairlift at Parador No. 1 50 metres away. The Sierra Nevada ski resort has 110 km of skiable slopes over 131 runs, including the highest slope in the Iberian Peninsula at 3,400 metres, a Snow Park for freestyle boarders and skiers, and trails for cross country skiing. Granada International Airport is a 45-minute transfer away, while Malaga International Airport and Marbella are 2 hours away.

Rooms & Suites

The hotel has 29 alpine-inspired rooms and suites, including the signature Maribel Penthouse Suite and duplex suites for families or small groups. Most rooms have balconies with panoramic views to the piste, Finnish wood interiors, leather furniture, faux-fur throws, plush king beds, seating areas, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, Chromecast Smart TVs and heated wooden floors. Bathrooms include rain-fall showers, spa baths, Natura Bissé toiletries and Maribel's signature bathrobes and slippers.

The restaurant serves hearty dishes and mountain favourites until late as a dining club, with a gold leaf bar, a snake-shaped sofa and hanging fireplaces designed by Stevani & Silva. The bar and lounge open onto a ski-in/ski-out outdoor terrace for après-ski dining, hot chocolate and sundowners, and the hotel has nightclub/DJ entertainment. A hearty breakfast buffet is served each morning, and the room includes a selection of items from the minibar.

Spa & Wellness

The Nordic-inspired spa has two treatment rooms, a Turkish steam room, a sauna and a large hot tub out on the deck. A heated outdoor swimming pool is available. Spa treatments include back massage, couples massage, foot massage, full body massage, hand massage, head massage and neck massage.
